An Uzumaki Amongst the Dunes by pudgypudge

Hold on to your horses, folks: this is one bumpy ride! Woohoo!
Denied the Namikaze name and belongings that were once owned and created by his parents, Naruto strikes up a deal with Tsunade and leaves Konoha for Suna, becoming a Suna-nin under Gaara's command. Things get better, and worse, and then better. Naruto becomes a teacher, masters much of his parents work, and even brings greenery back to Suna, all while falling in love with Temari.
I adore this story because it has so much going on in it without feeling like it's too much. There's a wonderful balance between life, training and love, one that makes this story truly stand out from the rest.

I remember when waiting for updates was a nightmare, simply because you wanted-needed the next chapter now, yesterday, last week! --laughs-- You guys are lucky, this story has been complete for a while now, so you get to enjoy the entire thing without having to wait for any updates.
