Space Haven by esama
Crossover Fandoms: Harry Potter / Stargate: Atlantis
Rating: T (Teen-Friendly)
Unlike the last story, where Harry alone ends up in Atlantis, this one witnesses a mass exodus of wizards, witches, muggles and magical beings from Earth to Atlantis. Because of the war many people and their families, including quite a few from Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, end up trying to survive in Hogwarts, which they know will fall to Voldemort's dark forces soon, so, they decide on a last-ditch effort to survive, and that leads them to Atlantis.
What I so adore about this story is how esama takes care to show us all aspects of such an incredible journey. The characters are human, and it shows. There are relationships, fears, hopes, dreams, and physical needs that need to be taken care of. Morale needs to be kept up. People need to eat and sleep and live.
This story is a true epic, in all senses of the word.
Title: Space haven
Author: esama
Crossover Fandoms: Harry Potter / Stargate: Atlantis
Status: WIP
Word Count: 148,163
Summary: Harry won a battle only to see that the war still continued.
Now trapped inside Hogwarts with no way out, he and the others search
for a place to make their final stand in. Thankfully they recieve a little
help from thousand years ago.
I have read and re-read this story dozens of times, and it never, ever gets old. It's a story that grows every time you read it.
Hugs,
