The Blue Fairy by Nonlinear
Crossover Fandoms: Buffy the Vampire Slayer / Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Rating: FR18 (Mature, contains character deaths)
When you realise what exactly the point of this crossover story is about, you understand that this is probably the most perfect crossover in existence in regards to Xander Harris' origin and family history.
Jessica Harris née Rabbit, has managed to escape her previous 2D world with her son, and they now make a living in the 3D 'human' world.
Even though this sounds like a funny story, it really, really isn't. It's tragic, sad, dark, grim and its characters are so full of fear. It's Who Framed Roger Rabbit? in a world where there are demons and humans are even worse.
Title: The Blue Fairy
Author: Nonlinear
Crossover Fandoms: Buffy the Vampire Slayer / Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Status: Complete
Word Count: 865
Summary: Jessica Harris’s past life not only explains Xander’s Technicolor dress sense
and cartoon penchant but how he was able to save Buffy from drowning. And why Anya
should be very, very afraid.
The sequel, whilst still unfinished, opens up a lot more about Jessica and her struggle to keep her precious son, the son of the toon, Roger Rabbit, alive and safe, and boy is she one damned determined mum!
Title: The Green Fairy
Author: Nonlinear
Crossover Fandoms: Buffy the Vampire Slayer / Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Status: WIP
Word Count: 1,924
Summary: (Gingerbread) When Jessica Harris née Rabbit, "human", learns that her baby
managed to get covered in some sort of mystical DIP, there's only one thing to do: hit him
over the head, stuff him in the trunk, and ride like hell for the back alleys of LA.
This story and its sequel are not lighthearted, they are mildly funny, in a tragicomedy kind of way, but they are gripping, interesting and incredibly written.
Hugs,
