shi_koi | Where's all the time gone...?

I hadn't realised how long it had been since I last posted here, I mean, I've been on here every few days or so gorging on fics (most recently for X-Men First Class and Sherlock) and yet it never occured to me to leave my notes here instead of on scraps of paper laying about. Self, are you really that slow? That's what private entries are for.

Urgh. My twelfth anniversary with my partner is on the 15th of September. Ye gods! Twelve years already? Maybe one day we'll actually get...married. --shudder-- I want to make him a card, but I have zero talent for creativity...well, maybe not that little, but I get awfully distracted by shiny things and then forget what I'm doing.

I've bought the parts and pieces to make him some decent bookmarks for his favourite books. Why more than one? because he, like me, likes to read more than one book at a time. Heh.

I've bought a few silver dragon bookmarks and some silver tone jumprings and connectors and some nice tibetan silver danglies and I'm going to put them together and make him a few nice dragon and skull and cross and ninja-star silver bookmarks. Plus, they're solid (and pretty heavy) so he's not going to be able to break them, like he accidentally ends up doing with the paper ones.

I really should go to bed.
