I've stuck that melancholy last entry behind me. I'm going to be cheerful. Honest!
I've just been reading some Gravitation fanfics. Reading about Shuichi always cheers me up. He's just so....genki!
So far I've also managed to add another fic to my collection, 'Vacation Blues'. I'm really quite happy with it. I had a bit of trouble deciding to post it, but I'm glad I did now. It's had a terrific response, but I really should be concentrating on updating my other stuff. I just haven't been in a good enough mood to do so.
Oooh, I got my first flame yesterday. It was so funny. Here's my response and the Flame.

Uh...sorry my fic was so troubling to you. I didn't realise I was forcing you to read such an obviously boring and tedious piece of fiction.
Just out of curiosity's sake, which fic were you talking about? I would hate for you to have gone to all the trouble of emailing me personally with your comment when I have no idea to which of my fics you are referring to.
I don't really know which one you mean, because the only thing I've written with blatent sex in it was 'Love You' which I wrote in just over an hour the day before yesterday when I was bored.
As for talking in Japanese, I watch the Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes in Japanese, so the comments they make tend to stick in my mind when I'm typing. I don't go by the anime very often, so most of my fics do have *small* Japanese fragments. But even those are mainly only a few words, usually added when I've seen one of the characters react in a similar manner in the manga versions of the series. (And I *do* add in their meanings and use)
I never intended to offend anyone, and I certainly didn't add it to make the reading difficult. If I was then I would be calling Yami 'mou hitori no boku' every time Yugi speaks about him. (Which literally translates to 'the other me')
As for defining the word 'boring', and getting the readers attention with sex at the beginning of a fic, I can assure you that that is not normally my intention, unless I specify it.

*snicker/snerk* I read somewhere that you're not a fanfic writer until you've been flamed. I wonder it this really qualifies as a flame though, it's a little bit, well, pathetic, isn't it. Heh.
I've also started my first original fic, and set up my account at fictionpress.net. I don't really know what I'm doing with it yet, and it's very manga-esque, but since I wrote it in one sitting after a very weird, vivid dream, I have no worries. I'll just re-dreft it when I feel I'm making progress with the plotline, story and characters.
Ooooh, quizzes. I want to add some results and stuff here. Fun stuff, yanno?
