This lovely little oneshot is my favourite story in the YYH fandom. I simply adore Shiori and I love reading fics about her relationship with Kurama. I believe that a lot more could have been done with their relationship, which was barely touched upon in both the manga and the anime.

Shiori in this fic is funny, emotive and a very sympathetic character to read about. I especially enjoy her conversations with her little shoulder angel and shoulder devil.

          and decides to clean her son's room but in the process she stumbles upon hints to her
          son's true story, but takes them as signs that he is a drug dealer!


Even though it's so short, this fic really highlights the relationship issues between Shiori and Kurama, in a very vague, gentle way, mostly through implications and humor.

You have no idea how happy I am to have discovered this on my first day of LiveJournaling. I didn't know anyone had actually read the story and I eventually shut down that account because all of the stories on there had been written in middle school. I appreciate that this ended up on your 100 favorite! <3
