Harry Potter HBP Film...

Well...yesterday my other half and I went to see the first showing of HP:HBP at the cinema. We queued up, in the rain and wind for over an hour to make sure we got in to the first available showing, and we managed to get in...just.
It was a waste of a morning, I'll tell you that much. The film was terrible. It really says something when the book is more exciting than the film version, especially when the film is prettied up with special effects.
The acting was good, but the way it was presented was just...urgh. Bleh. Boring.
In fact, not only was a huge chunk of information missing in the film (and yes I know they couldn't include everything from the book) they also seriously fucked the book in the ending when Dumbledore died.
Other peeves include some truly atrocious HPGW interaction which looked forced, (and was either acted out extremely badly, which is a surprise, considering the quality of the acting in the other scenes, or just mishandled), no mention of Spinner's End or Eileen Prince, and really, really bad transition in quite a few scenes.
There are more, but honestly, I'm not going to ruin your experience.
I enjoyed the last film so much that I went to see it five times. This one, well, I'd like my time back, kplztkx.
The one good thing about the film, is Snape. Even though he's not my favourite person in the books/films, (that goes to Harry and Luna), he certainly cuts a magnificent figure in those clothes. --drool-- It's just a pity he doesn't get more than roughly ten minutes screen-time overall.
Oh yes, Narcissa...I am so utterly disappointed in her actress.
