So...it looks like I'm taking part in NaNoWriMo this year.

Honestly? I wasn't expecting to. I've barely written anything since January. However secondplatypus's 'Perish Twice' 'verse inspired me. --laughs--

I've been working on an outline and three byplots just in case something derails me and I lose focus. The title is 'Ternion' and it's going to be Lucifer/Sam/Gabriel and of course, Dean/Castiel.

The synopsis I've submitted to the NaNo site is:

Lucifer never lied to Sam. He always said that one way or another, Sam would say yes to him.

He was right.

He still failed.

Life went on, only now, Sam's dead, and his soul is missing. To find him, Dean's willing to tear apart Heaven and Hell, along with whomever stands in his way.

The problem is, their only leads are a dead Archangel and the Morningstar himself.

With Raphael on their back, just waiting to tear them apart, and a host of pagan Gods just itching to seek revenge for the loss of their own, Castiel and Dean have to somehow find out what happened to Sam's soul and piece together the threat behind the scenes.

Then all they have to do, is survive.

Basically, at some point in the future, after Dean dies and goes to Heaven with Castiel, Sam dies. It's all very expected, and Sam n' Dean crack jokes about Dean taking the Heaven Express and whatnot (what with Cas) while Sam has to go the old fashioned way and so on...only Sam's soul never makes it to Heaven, and that's where the story starts.

I'm trying to think of some way to work Kali into one of the subplots, because Kali rocks. I want to see her all BAMF and more like the real Kali.

I'm also trying to think of how to get Hel, Fenrir and Jörmungandr into the plot without focusing on them too much.

I also have a way, way too long a list of angels. --headesk--

Also, since I'm crap with images, I haven't got a book cover or a signature banner. Ugh. I told myself last year that I'd practice for this year, but --nervous laugh-- I guess that didn't turn out all that well. --droops--

It's probably for the best, since I'm utter crap at manips, and I'd probably scar the eyes of anyone looking at them. --cackle--

...This probably isn't the best thing for the daughter of a missionary to be writing, huh? --laughs-- Ah well. I've had cushes on most of the angels for a very long time, and slashing them? Awesome. It's a good thing I'm estranged from the rest of my family. --snicker--
