Naruto: Fic Rec: The Ghost and the Darkness by Kirsdarkenvar

Okay, seriously, I almost never, ever rec fics. Quite simply because even if I enjoy one, it's not usually enough for me to bother to share it.

This one's different.

Frankly, I want to have this fic rec'd in a place I'll always be able to find it because yes, it is that damn good.

It's creepy, freaky and frightening as Hell, and it grabs you by the proverbial throat and drowns you in its content until you simply cannot. Stop. Reading.

It mostly revolves around Naruto and Sasuke, but I can assure you it's a Naruto and Sasuke you're not likely to have ever come across before.

There are no pairings, which it wonderful, considering the direction this story goes in, and so all the content is purely aimed at moving the fic along, without any 'romantic' setbacks.

If you want something different from normal, and feel like taking the plunge into a story which will settle in your mind with an icy, suspenseful, creepy touch, and you feel brave enough to step outside the normal fic boundaries to read this, then I suspect that you'll be pleased.

If you don't want the images of your normal canon!Naruto and canon!Sasuke getting tarnished, then run away now.

I'm not telling you anything else about the story. Go look for yourselves.
