Break the Records ROCKS! (Or, KAT-TUN = Love)

EDIT: Added bits, because I just watched BtR again, and found I had more to say. =^___^=

I've managed to download BtR and watch it, although only the first part is subbed (partially atm). It is AMAZING. Seriously. I looked around to get a price on it so I could get it, and it's a nightmare! The limited edition is sold out everywhere I can afford, and in the places it's not sold out in (and I can actually buy from), the cheapest one is currently £80.63! That's ridiculous!

At this rate I'll be lucky to save enough to buy the regular version for my birthday, (which is the 23rd of February, same as Kame's! Woohoo! Heh.) or to get my other half to get it for me. --cries--

I adored 1582. It's my favourite performance in the show. Kame is just so beautiful in it. --dreamy sigh-- That whole segment was amazing. So, so, so worth waiting for. =^__^=

You know, it's almost sinful, the way he looked in those kimono, and they were kimono, weren't they? The way he moved...wow! There's one part near the beginning where he brings his hands together and they almost touch, but he jerks them apart, and that always, always makes me lurch forward and catch my breath. God only knows why, but it's hella effective.

Oh! It took me three or four watchings before I realised that Kame was wearing a magical kimono/yukata at the end scene with all that water. When he got hit with warm/hot water, the markings disappeared, and when he went through the cold water, they appeared again! How cool was that?!

I also loved Ueda and Nakamaru's solos, they were so wonderful...and thought Koki's was pretty good too. Junno's song was excellent, but his performance was almost as bad as his performance for Natsu no Basho. --droops-- I still enjoyed it though. Junno's my second favourite in KAT-TUN, and he always makes me smile.

I wish Jin hadn't joined in though. --pouts-- I'd have preferred to have had Junno's solo to be just that...a solo.

Koki's song was catchy in parts, and his performance was spectacular, especially with that metal ball. He's also really good at pulling off the 'crazy ringmaster' look, isn't he? --laughs-- I could definitely picture him with a whip and a circus of exotic animals...like a lifesized turtle. --cackles--

Tatsuya was so cute when he did his piano bit. --giggles-- And when he got all excited afterwards I couldn't help but cheer and laugh even though it was only me, my laptop and my other half in the room. --snerk-- When he made that motion for the audience to be quiet, I wanted to hit those people who wouldn't shut up. Aaah, fear me and my nonexistent psychic powers of doom. --snort--

I also enjoyed Maru's pre-solo bit on the screens. For some reason, I just find the way he moves to be so very adorable. --laughs-- Also, with this short haircut and the shaping he's had done to his eyebrows, he looks very fey. It's so cute. His beatboxing gets me every time. No matter how often I hear it and watch him do it. I have a love-hate thing going on for that move he does, you know, when he makes it seem like he's cracking the bones in his neck. --shudder--

Jin...well...his song was a disappointment, although the girls were very pretty and were definite eye-candy. --grins-- After Pinky and Lovejuice...this song and performance was a real let-down to me. --sigh-- It was just...mediocre.

You know, I actually found myself annoyed quite often with Jin in this concert. --is puzzled-- I honestly don't know why. I usually fangirl over him almost as much as Kame, since, well, he's damn hot, has an amazing voice, and moves like a snake in water. Something about him just...annoyed me. --sigh--

Overall, this concert was completely out of this world. It was brilliant! I can't wait for it to be fully and comprehensively subbed. Btw, links are under the cut if you haven't found everything yet and you're interested. =^___^=

First link: The KAT-TUN section of the JE Index. Just scroll down to 'Break the Records' under the concert stuff to find them subbed.

Second Link: Raw DVD rip for Break the Records. It's locked, so join the [livejournal.com profile] jone_records comm to see/get, and thank them for it, and please, try to buy it when you can, like I'm going to do. We need to keep supporting our boys, right?

There's more in my memories, under the downloads sections.

I still haven´t gotten a chance to watch it yet, but I am sure that I´ll enjoy it (maybe lose a bit of pulled out hair because of the horrible costumes, but XD)

Kat-tun and JE stuff in general are ridiculously overpriced, makes me a bit sad.

I did watch Kame´s 1582 perf from youtube though. Simply breathtaking. Though the part following it..was the only objective to get Kame as wet as possible so that he could show off his wet body? :D

[identity profile] shi-koi.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
--giggles--

was the only objective to get Kame as wet as possible so that he could show off his wet body?

Wait...? Did you actually think about this scene? Wow. My thought process went along the lines of 'Kame...wet' and 'Kame...pretty' and then got stuck on a loop and had a minor data crash. --snicker--

1582 is my favourite performance. Ever. Although his 'Seishun Amigo' performance in Dream Boys 2006 comes close, as does 'Into Mine' (07) and 'Search' (06 again). Talk about sexy, eh? He just oozes sensuality. --dies with a smile--

Urk. tell me about it. I never really bought music regularly before I discovered KAT-TUN, and classical music is pretty cheap, as are the few bands I liked enough to buy albums for, like Rammstein, Gorillaz, Placebo, Muse, Nickleback...etc. It's one hell of a price jump.

Aah, you should totally go watch it. J-One Records have put up HQ rips for DVDs 01 and 02, and the LQ DVD rip for 03 is actually pretty damn high.

I...have to admit that on the whole...I...I actually...like...their costumes. --blushes like crazy-- I love the way they tend to discard layers, slowly stripping off each one to show something new underneath. It's like they're presents that need unwrapping, and sometimes, they're even shiny presents!

hides in embarrassment

EDIT: I have been inspired to watch the concert again. =^_____^=

Lol, yes, Kame didn´t manage to erase my thinking capacity (completely).

1582..I think that performance wise, it comes really close to Kizuna, which is also my favorite song from him. But 1582 comes really close song-wise as well, I adore the melody and the lyrics and...yeah, lol, i love 1582 XD "Into mine" and "Search" I liked simply based on the perfs *is shallow* How hot can one get :P

Yes, me too. Well, actually, I was never even that interested in music until Japan came along and now, yeah.

I will watch it soon :) I just haven´t been in the best of moods lately and i don´t want my viewing experience to suffer because of that :( I desperately need someone to sub the 3rd DVD though.

Lol :D I have never liked them and never will though there has been slight improvement. Or maybe I have just adjusted and gotten used to them. They should strip off even more? *blushes* Over exposure can never hurt XD

JE is always shiny :P

*drags you back out again*

Lol, and I maybe will drag myself to watch it for the first time :P

Ohh, btw, this may seem sudden, but do you have a Msn account that you use? I am not very active around lj, but I´d love to talk to you more. I swear I am not a creepy stalker-ish fangirl. Can´t deny the slight fangirl part though :D But, yeah, one cannot stay completely normal in the fandom XD

[identity profile] shi-koi.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
--claps hands-- Oh! Kizuna! I really love that song. my other half calls it 'that Gokusen song'. --grin-- I never, ever got sick of that song. In fact, it's on my PSP, and I watched his performance of it at the Gokusen 2 Reunion Special just a few hours ago on the bus. =^_____^=

--swoons-- In 'Into Mine' there's one scene where you can see his nipples poking out through his silver shirt, and my eyes popped out and I swear I drooled. --is embarrassed-- The way he moves his hips and does that full-body roll/shimmy should be classed as a lethal weapon. --snicker--

You're totally shallow. Yep...Welcome to the ranks! --cackles evilly--

I preferred most of his performance in 'Search', but those boots he wore in 'Into Mine'...dear god, those were a mans equivilant of fuck-me!boots. --nods-- I swear he's going to make me die of dehydration...I'm going to drool to death. --giggle-- At least I'll die happy, right?

i don´t want my viewing experience to suffer

Good idea. You definitely want to make sure you're happy and sugared up and all...

They should strip off even more? *blushes* Over exposure can never hurt XD

Overexposure? What is this 'overexposure' you speak of? --is firmly in denial--

JE is always shiny :P

Ah, you have discovered the real reason I became a fan. it's the shiny. It calls to me. --nod-- Kame's the shiniest of them all. --points to the last performance and the water--

--hides again--

Actually, I think I do have a MSN account...I just haven't used it in yonks. I'll go drag it out of the abyss and send you the details when I can remember how I logged in. --cringe--

Ah, fangirlism...it's a familiar and comforting state of being. --snerk--

[identity profile] eragon22.livejournal.com 2009-12-22 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Kizuna is my favorite. It has a special place in my heart, it was one of the first performances that I ever saw from Kame.

Kame should be prohibited from fanservice, he turns it into a lethal weapon *nods in agreement*

Lol, the ranks are big but I will try to find a place here, thanks :P

Omg, I remember those shiny boots. Kame can make even boots sexy. ohh, yes, a very happy death, if I do say myself :D

Yes, so I need to watch it on a sugar high :D

Lol, the shininess is definitely a factor but what´s keeping me a fan is...erm..actually I don´t even know XD A combination of many things, I guess *scratches her head* Ohh, whatever, as long as i am a fan XD
Yes, agreed, Kame is the shiniest of them all :P

Lol, okay :P Hope you´ll find it somehow somewhere :D Ohh, btw, where are you from? :) And I just realised this but I don´t think I have ever asked for your name? T_T I am very bad-mannered, it seems, sorry *blushes*

[identity profile] shi-koi.livejournal.com 2009-12-23 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Ah! Ditto! It's the first time I saw/heard him sing! It's a very special song. --nods--

Kame should be prohibited from fanservice, he turns it into a lethal weapon *nods in agreement*

Aaah...but to die from that fanservice would be a very good thing, eh? --is hit--

Remember, we're shallow and proud of it. We don't need to justify our obsession interest in Kame as a sexy piece of man-flesh eye-candy. --snerk-- Our place is as heaps of drooling fangirl lumps, all across the world! --strikes pose and is shot--

Sorry, --snicker-- couldn't resist.

Uh-huh, sugar highs and KAT-TUN go oddly well together...--ponders--

Aaah, the path of the fangirl is troubled and harsh...yes, yes it is. We are struck with obsessions without notice and we suffer from an inability to understand why, even though we try very very hard and practice even harder. --cackles--

...Plus...shiny! I mean...how can you go wrong with that?

--purrs over shiny shiny Kame--

--grins-- I found my details! I had to install the latest version of Windows Live Messenger, which made me restart my laptop and everything...but I'm good to go now. My email is shi_koi@hotmail.com.

--laughs-- I'm pretty absent-minded, so I can't point any fingers. I'm in Ipswich in the UK. Name...shh, don't tell anyone, --winks-- it's Jasmine, but everyone calls me Jaz.

This is where I turn around and say, 'Hey, I don't know where you're from either, and I also forgot to ask for your name' right? --scratches head-- Heh.

So...see you on MSN soon. --thumbs up--

[identity profile] eragon22.livejournal.com 2009-12-23 12:07 pm (UTC)(link)
It is a special song :O I think the first one from Kat-tun was Real face, performed live in Tokyo Dome. That was one awesome experience.

Mhh, cannot argue you with that. Yeah, fangirling just...is...and there isn´t any need for reason behind it *whistles innocently* Well, what can we do, we adore sexy Japanese men? :D

Sugar high goes well with anything, in my opinion. ohh, alcohol goes well with Kat-tun too. When I´m drunk, I can actually enjoy some other JE bands too (with rainbows and more shiny things than Kat-tun).

Yes, fangirling has never been easy *sighs* Yes, and we just cannot manage to get away, even though we might try hard but---just not possible to tear yourself away.

Shiny shiny shiny *chants along happily*

Msn can be a mess sometimes T_T Good, I´ll add you :)

lol, I´m usually not and then of course I noticed that you had said where you are from in your user info *smacks herself* But repetition is never bad, right? :P It´s just that I don´t have any personal info on lj, so I am used to other people not having either.

Hello :) I´m Kat and I´m from Estonia (I hope you know where that is, people never know *sighs*) =)

Yep, see you soon. And sorry for still answering this comment, I couldn´t resist XD

[identity profile] shi-koi.livejournal.com 2009-12-23 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? The first time I saw KAT-TUN as a group was when I searched YouTube for them and found their 'RESCUE' PV. --grin-- I think...if I remember correctly...their first live performance that I saw was...LIPS, ripped from QoP.

...Wait. Have you actually seen them? Live? Or am I getting that sentence wrong?

--snicker-- I've been a modest fangirl for years and years...but it's only been recently with KAT-TUN (and Kame especially) that I actually been able to understand why some fans act the way they do. --laughs-- It's like I've leveled up...only I don't know if that's a good thing.

Oh yeah, sugar highs, alcohol buzzes, chocolate stupors...they're all good with KAT-TUN. =^_~=

I'm not too sure about the other JE bands, but it help when I watch SHINee too. --snicker--

You're called Kat? --gapes-- Wow! To find your 'twoo wuv' you just need to find Tun! --giggles-- Sorry. I have inappropriate humor issues.

Estonia? Um, actually, --cough-- yeah, I know where it is, and even a little bit about it. Uh, that's only due to Hetalia though. I'm a fan of Hetalia, and Estonia is cute. =^____^=

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I've been bogged down with Christmas prepartions and whatnot. Gah! I'm cooking Christmas dinner and everything and taking care of it all. --dies--

See you soon! Take care. =^_^=

[identity profile] eragon22.livejournal.com 2009-12-24 11:05 am (UTC)(link)
Rescue? Then you are a relatively new fan. Now I feel like I have been forever in the fandom :D No, unfortunately haven´t seen them :( Never been to Japan :(

Lol, actually it was the same for me :D I mean I could never get how teenage girls like Backstreet boys or the likes but then Kame just had to come along. yes, but still, fangirls can be super scary

Yep, everything goes with Kat-tun :D Mmhh, I am not very into K-pop..but I adore Kanjani8 as well.

Yeah, I am :P It´s an abbreviation from my real name :)Lol, I like weird humor :P I have a sarcastic humor, bordering bitchy :D

*googles Hetalia* Lol, now I know about it as well :P Nobody has ever heard of it though or think that it´s a part of Russia so i´m used to people not knowing anything about it.

It´s okay. Christmas time is really busy. I got a hand cramp in the morning from baking gingerbread cookies and I don´t even want to think about dinner.

Yes, you too. No vexing too much or overeating :) And, since it is the right time, I hope you have a lovely Christmas Eve =)

[identity profile] shi-koi.livejournal.com 2009-12-26 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
Yep, I'm an extremely new fan. Like, only four months old or so. I'm not exactly sure when, but I was a fan of Kame for about a month or two before that. --laughs--

I can't say I'm massively into K-pop, but I have found recently that I like some SHINee, Big Bang, G-Dragon, and one or two of SS501's songs. Usually I end up liking one or two songs and then I never follow the band...which is why my obsession interest and continued love for KAT-TUN surprised me.

--laughs-- I know what you mean. I have a very dry sense of humor, and it turns some people off of me. Heh.
