In another time and another world, Charles Xavier is not a mutant - unless you count being almost supernaturally likable a mutation. So, when Erik finds himself stuck as a cat, thanks to a run in with a mutant who likes her very human and non-mutant sisters (thank you very much!) and doesn't like Erik's 'mutants rule humans drool' proposal, Erik ends up in a very ~~enviable~~ unfortunate position, that of Charles' new cat.

Unfortunately for Erik, you simply cannot dislike Charles, and his mutants only philosophy gets battered and beaten to hell with every stroke, story, treat and cuddle that Charles bestows upon cat!Erik.
